Lightning in a Paintcan!
| Scattered throughout the trees of our forest playground will be over a dozen large panels that will be transformed into a live mural project, to be created using 100% used and recycled paint.
We're calling this "Lightning in a Paintcan" Some of our favorite galleries and collectives will be sending artists to participate. The final pieces will be sold at a silent auction at LIB and all proceeds will go to benefit Sonic Muze, an amazing nonprofit organization that donates musical instruments and art supplies to public schools in need. Hosted at a festival that seeks to implement and promote environmental sustainability, created in a non-wasteful way, and designed to support the education of the next generation of artists and creative spirits, the theme for this live art collaboration is Sustainability. We can't wait to see all the ways in which these talented artists will redefine this vision, and encourage all to help support arts education by bidding on a mural!!
